Wholes and Pieces
If ‘the world is a changing” what does that mean for you and me? Old ways of doing things are being remodeled and redesigned. Change means common items likely become obsolete, as did leaded gasoline, “full service,” LP records, 8 track and cassette tapes, and CD's. Some inventions or ideas will become common place, like wind turbines, the internet, wifi, blue tooth streaming, and online shopping.
I am reminded of the song lyrics by Billy Gains, “Change...one of the only things in life that still remains the same. How strange, that change is here to stay.”

Use Your Authority
Without a demonstration of authority, in the context of Gospel preaching, teaching the Word, or witnessing, however, people have no reference as to the power thereof. This is why Jesus sends disciples (then and now) casting out demons, raising the dead, cleansing the leper (10).
Speak the name of Jesus. It has authority. Apply the shed blood of Jesus. It has authority. Practice and pronounce the promises and principles in God’s Word. They have authority.

The Lone Blossom
There may be an uneasy sense that you are somewhat different than many Americans, with the barrage of bizarre news reports and social media posts over the last few years. You may feel old fashioned, even heckled “out of date,” or “out of touch with mainstream.”
May I encourage you to NOT be silent. Do not let the world’s turmoil and tensions have a reclusive affect on your faith.

Remedy for the Culturally Nauseous
We ask God to come back and be the center of our culture - the center of Government, the center of the Justice system, the center of Education and Entertainment, the center of Business, Media, and Religion. And most importantly, the center of our families. While a peace and love generation asked God to leave, our violence tattered, schizophrenic culture must ask Him to come back.
Family Resemblance
Jesus resembles his Father, especially on earth. And not just a little. In fact, He acknowledged, “I and the Father are one.” He meant unity in purpose, in will, and in work. Literally, “The Word [of God] became flesh and dwelt among us.” Jesus also humbly revealed this to his critics, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”
